from which you may choose to help you make your retreat as fruitful as possible.

Suggestion
May we suggest that Advent and Christmastide as well as Lent and Eastertide, are
especially suited for a solitary period with the Lord. Advent and Lent call strongly
for converison and preparedness for what is coming. Christmas and Eastertide call
for rejoicing in the benefits and strength we have in Jesus.
