Drawn equally by the contemplative and apostolic ideals, the Society of Our Mother of Peace
aims to combine and balance strong elements of the contemplative life with the essential
features of the Apostolic life.

Living in material simplicity, members dwell in separate hermitages or in a convent
building. Several hours daily of solitary prayer along with the Liturgy in common, foster intimacy
with God and zeal for the evangelization of the unchurched and non-practicing Catholics,and for
helping people deepen their spiritual life through private retreats and spiritual direction.

Come away with us for a day or weeklong retreat or even a longer period to discern your own
personal steps towards becoming truly free in Christ.

Prayer to Our Mother of Peace

O Mother of Jesus and Our Mother full of grace,
bear His peace, His presence, His holiness, your Divine Son into our very souls;
nourish our minds with His mind for lowliness;
our hearts with His heart for self-giving;
our souls with His soul for quietness, resting in His Father’s Will;
all our energies with His strength for zeal;
and with your holy maternal love support each step of your little ones
as they cling to you and strive to walk in His likeness. Amen.
